TORONTO – November 19, 2018 — Asigra Inc., a leading cloud backup, recovery and restore software provider since 1986, today announced that the Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS) has deployed Asigra Cloud Backup Evolved V14 powered backup services by Data2Vault to strengthen its security and compliance position. PCS made the decision to upgrade in order to protect backup data against ransomware attacks and for compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Installation of the project was part of a larger initiative to optimize the company’s infrastructure by leveraging technologies and services from Asigra, Data2Vault and MillerTech.
